ENCCA Training Programmes

The ENCCA consortium is dedicated to enhancing paediatric oncology education and training standards. Work Package 15 is focussed upon this topic: enhancing paediatric oncology teaching standards in order to harmonise educational courses on specific treatments, protocols and improving the skills of all professions involved in translational clinical research. Specialised advanced training courses for paediatric oncologists will be set up to address issues such as integrating biology research into clinical trials, cancer registry training, definition and improvement of cancer pathways, and the promotion of high standards of care.

The ENCCA Work Package Leader for Education and Training (Work Package 15) is Professor Riccardo Riccardi, based in the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
